Donations

Recent Donations

  1. May / June 2005: We have recently received a significant amount of photograph and slide materials from the London office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). We will also shortly be receiving a number of UNHCR videos as well and further details can be found on our UNHCR Archive page. Further info rmation on the work of the UNHCR London office can be found at: www.unhcr.org.uk
  2. April 2005: A number of books and a back-run of the Refugee Survey Quarterly has recently been donated by The Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford.
  3. April 2005: A large number of materials were recently donated by Amanda Sebestyen. This included a large number of materials on Eastern Europe and on the Roma, including back issues of the important journal Roma Rights. This collection is currently being worked through and catalogued.
  4. 2004: We were very pleased to receive a very substantial donation to the Archive from Jainie Roberston, a former student on the postgraduate MA in Refugee Studies. The donation represented almost a thousand items in total, which included a range of items including book, journals, articles and a range of ephemera which were all very greatly received. Many thanks to Jainie for her support to the Archive and details of items donated to the Archive will appear once they have been added to the online catalogue.
