Exile Images - Exile Images was established in 2001 and contains an extensive database of images produced by fourteen established photojournalists. You will need to apply for an access and password to access the images. Web Address: http://www.exileimages.co.uk/

Forced Migration Online (FMO) - Forced Migration Online ( FMO ) provides instant access to a wide variety of online resources dealing with the situation of forced migrants worldwide. Health for Asyulum Seekers and Refugees Portal, (HARP) - The Health for Asylum Seeker sand Refugees Portal consists of three websites, each developed in collaboration with health professionals working with asylum seekers and refugees in the UK . They are designed to enable you to easily access the wealth of info rmation, practical tools, and articles that have been written by health care professionals, NGOs, academics and research bodies with expert knowledge of working with asylum seekers and refugees, both in the UK and other countries. International Organization for Migration, (IOM) - Established in 1951 as an intergovernmental organization to resettle European displaced persons, refugees and migrants, IOM has now grown to encompass a variety of migration management activities throughout the world. Moving Here - The vision of Moving Here is to explore, record and illustrate why people came to England over the last 200 years, and what their experiences were and continue to be. The site mainly looks at the Caribbean , Irish, Jewish and South Asian communities. This web site offers free access, for personal and educational use, to online versions of original material related to migration, including photographs, personal papers, government documents, maps and art objects, as well as a collection of sound recordings and video clips. National Archives - The National Archives have recently made availble online a selection of Alien Registration Cards dated between 1876 and 1991. `Alien' was originally the formal legal term for an immigrant in Britian. Refworld - Refworld is the leading source of information necessary for taking quality decisions on refugee status. Refworld contains a vast collection of reports relating to situations in countries of origin, policy documents and positions, and documents relating to international and national legal frameworks. The information has been carefully selected and compiled from UNHCR's global network of field offices, Governments, international, regional and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions and judicial bodies. 19 Princelet Street - An original Huguenot master silk weaver's home in Brick Lane which is now owned by the Spitalfields Charity. The house now caintains Suitcases and Sactuary, the first museum dedicated to immigration in London and Britain as a whole.
