Access to Archives (A2A) - A2A is the English strand of the UK archives network. The database contains catalogues giving detailed descriptions of archives held all over England outside the National Archives. The A2A database currently contains nearly 5.4 million catalogue entries from 328 record offices and other repositories. Web Address: http://www.a2a.org.uk/

AIM25 - AIM25 is a major project to provide electronic access to collection level descriptions of the archives of over fifty higher education institutions and learned societies within the greater London area. This site contains summary descriptions of the contents of thousands of different archive collections. Archives Online (ARCHON) - The ARCHON Directory includes contact details for record repositories in the United Kingdom and also for institutions elsewhere in the world which have substantial collections of manuscripts noted under the indexes to the National Register of Archives. National Register of Archives - The National Council on Archives was established in 1988 to bring together the major bodies and organisations, including service providers, users, depositors and policy makers, across the UK concerned with archives and their use. The British Library - The national deposit library for the United Kingdom . The British Library receives a copy of every publication produced in the UK and Ireland .
