Pippa Dell teaches critical psychology on the undergraduate programmes and contributes some qualitative research methods training on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She also supervises PhD and professional doctorate research students. Pippa did both her first degree in psychology (with anthropology) and her PhD at the University of London. She also has an MSc in Organisational and Occupational Psychology. Prior to joining UEL, she lectured in the Communications Department at the University of London: Goldsmiths College, where she first developed her interests in critical, psychoanalytic and cultural theories, inspired by working alongside colleagues from disciplines other than psychology.
Pippa is a Member of the British Psychological Society and is a Chartered Psychologist. She is also a member of both the International and the National Mentoring Networks; the UEL Centre for Narrative Research. She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
