Brief biography

Chris Pawson is the school Leader in Learning and Teaching and a senior lecturer within the School of Psychology. Chris teaches advanced developmental psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate level and leads modules on introductory and political psychology in the schools of health and bioscience and psychology. Chris is also a UEL teaching fellow and teaches on the MA in Learning and Teaching programme in the School of Education at UEL.

  • Leading the development and implementation of the school of psychology learning and teaching strategy.
  • Leading the engagement of colleagues with the UEL professional standards framework.
  • Module leader for introductory psychology, political psychology and psychology work placements.

Chris is a member of the Institute for Research in Child Development, within which his main foci of research are children’s peer relations, moral development and antisocial behaviour.
