Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching

Entry requirements

Prospective students should possess a degree or equivalent from a recognised university and have relevant work experience. We also accept applications from those who have over five years of work experience and a strong motivation to study. Prospective students will need to complete an application form and may be asked to complete an interview.

Module options

For a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching, students must complete Evidence-based Coaching Theory and Practice along with one of the following modules.

Teaching days and study time

For full-time students, teaching is concentrated on Fridays and Saturdays. Students will be expected to attend five teaching days per module and allow up to ten to twelve hours a week on private study, reading, assignments and practice.

For part-time students, teaching is concentrated on Fridays or Saturdays (dependent on module being taken). Students will be expected to attend five or six teaching days per module and should allow up to six hours a week for private study, reading, assignments and practice.

Assessment

Modules are assessed through presentations, coaching logs, personal reflection and written essays. There are no formal written examinations.
