This site, based at a U.S university, is an Aladdin’s cave of psychology resources. A great general resource, especially the link via this site to ‘Mega Sites’, and the American Psychological Society links.
This is a very well developed site and offers information to students of psychology, academic psychologists and to applied psychologists. There are free journal papers on topical subjects to print out each week and much, much more. Well worth a visit.
BACP is the largest UK professional association that represents the interests of counsellors and psychotherapists at national and international level. It seeks to maintain and raise standards of training and practice through professional codes of ethics and practice and the scheme for the formal accreditation of training courses and individual practitioners. BACP has an information service, a wide range of publications (including a Journal published ten times a year) and an active Research Network. BACP holds legal and financial responsibility for the UK registration of counsellors.
A great resource for all those particularly interested in this sub-discipline.
