International Students

Ten things we do to help our International Applicants

  1. We will offer you prompt, personal advice on our courses, our university and student life in the School of Psychology.
  2. We will offer you advice that takes into account your experience, qualifications and ambitions for the future.
  3. If English is not your first language, we accept many different English Language qualifications (for example, IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge Proficiency, and so forth) and will take your individual circumstances into account when assessing your English Language proficiency.
  4. If you require information, advice and support whilst applying through UCAS (full-time undergraduate programmes only), please contact us and we will help you.
  5. We will provide you with comprehensive information before you arrive.
  6. We will keep you informed of the progress of your application whilst it is in our university admissions system and ensure it is quickly processed.
  7. Once you apply, we will communicate with you by telephone, email or MSN messenger as well as by letter. We will use these means of communication to talk to you during the application process and after you have accepted an offer.
  8. We will provide extensive advice and support for you when you apply for a UK visa, if you need one to come and study here.
  9. We will provide opportunities for you to talk to our existing students by way of phone or email.
  10. We should be happy for you to visit the School of Psychology and the University of East London.
