Combined Honours Programmes

International Business (Major, Joint or Minor)

Campus: Docklands

What will I study?

We offer a number of different Combined Honours programmes for Business Studies which allow you to choose how much of your time you wish to spend studying this subject. You can choose which options you wish to study depending upon your interests and ambitions.  Other programmes available in the Business Studies area are: Business Finance, Business Studies, Human Resource Management, and Marketing

International Business

International Business Studies introduces you to the latest business concepts and management techniques while exploring how businesses operate across borders and how businesses are affected by and contribute to increasing internationalisation or globalisation

It specifically allows you to address the following issues:

  • How organisations react to differing business environments
  • The methods used to establish competitive strategy
  • How organisations operate within the context of an increasingly interconnected and globalised world

Which modules will I study?

You can view a full guide to the modules you have to study as part of your chosen pathway, along with a full range of option modules available by viewing the Single & Combined Honours Programmes Guide for International Business

Can I study a Combined Honours Programme as a Part-time degree?

All our Combined Honours Programmes can be studied on a Part-time or Full-time basis. As a Part-time student, you will study the same degree programme, but at a slower pace. You will study up to 4 modules per year (instead of 6 as a full-time student). You will find that some subject areas offer evening taught modules to aid flexibility. Some Business modules are available for evening study.
