Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management deals with how organisations manage people. This covers issues such as recruitment and selection, training, performance management, communications with employees, pay and rewards. It should appeal to you if you want a career in HRM or one involving the management of people and are interested in issues such as the following:

  • How can we try to improve selection to get the right people in the right jobs?
  • How can an organisation deal with stress amongst employees?
  • What trends and changes are occurring in Human Resource Management in an increasingly interconnected and globalised world?

Which modules will I study?

You can view a full guide to the modules you have to study as part of your chosen pathway, along with a full range of option modules available by viewing the Single & Combined Honours Programmes Guide for Human Resource Management
