About Sport
Our MSc courses provide an extensive grounding in the theory and practice of each discipline with post-graduate employability being central to programme design. We have benefited from substantial investment in sport over the past year leading to UEL being awarded the title ‘most improved sports University in the UK 2011’ by the British University and Colleges Sports Association. The £21 million Sports Dock at our Docklands campus, due for completion in March 2012, will house a specialist strength and conditioning unit, physiology laboratories and new lecture theatres. Our research activity is currently flourishing with a range of new studies being commissioned pre, during and post Olympic and Paralympic Games.
