Shamiso Bikwa, who is in her third year of Early Childhood Studies and a Student Ambassador, has been an asset to the Student Ambassador team and for the last 18 months has been working at the Skillzone at UEL.
Shamiso has found her work in the Skillzone “fun, seeing people from lots of different backgrounds coming to UEL and having a success story at the end of it”.
As a Student Ambassador working for Skillzone, Shamiso has improved her employability skills as she has dealt with “so many different enquiries" and that means "learning new skills as you go along”.
As with many jobs she has found it challenging and comments on "how hard working the staff are but still manage to put a smile on their faces and are a lovely team to work with”.
