The Starting Out course is designed to prepare individuals who are interested in gaining employment, education or training, to be more confident to do so. The programme includes 6 workshops and we run the workshop programme three times a year.
Throughout the programme, all participants will be provided with one-to-one advice and guidance by a qualified advisor. At this time, an action plan will be set in order to have a clear career plan and targets to work towards.
The course is spread over six weeks consisting of six Thursday’s, between 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM. The one-to-one interviews will be booked with the Advisors at a time to suit you.

"This course has really helped me in a lot of different areas. I was always afraid of going for interviews but since I did the course, it has given me more confidence and I am more relaxed than ever. I now know how to deal with my fear, boldness and straight forward. I have gained a lot from this course which I can put into practice. For the short time I came on the course I have learnt a lot of things, I am a different person now, looking forward to employment so that I can put my training into practice."

".. I have gained lots of knowledge which is important to me in terms of gaining entry to my chosen career. They helped us to learn about how to prepare a curriculum vitae and how to handle interview situations. The tutors also helped to provide us necessary information regarding how to be more positive. "
