What to expect
Arriving and registering
Registration opens at 11:30am. On arrival you will need to pay a visit to the registration point. Providing you have booked your place, all you’ll need to provide is your reference number which you will receive by text message a few days prior to the event. If you’ve not booked in advance, staff will help you register on the day.
After registration is complete you will receive your UEL welcome pack and be free to explore the school stands and the information fair.
School Stands
Each School has a stand manned by academic staff who can offer you expert insight into the programmes we run at UEL. You will be able to ask questions about what is involved in the course, what types of careers the course can lead into and what will be expected of you and find leaflets or brochures that you can take away with you for further reading. Schools will also be running taster sessions on subjects of interest. All this information is detailed in the programme.
Student Services Information Fair
We pride ourselves on the fantastic information, advice and support we provide to our students. The information fair features stalls from UEL Residential Services, disability support, fees and funding, careers and employability, UELSports, International Office and Pre-entry Information and Advice. We will also have members of our admissions team available to provide guidance on making or completing an application.
Student Ambassadors
You will spot UEL Student Ambassadors in their bright blue sweatshirts at the Open Days. Feel free to approach them to ask questions, ask them to point you in the right direction, or chat to them about what being a UEL student is like.
Refreshments
In your welcome pack you will find a voucher that you can redeem at one of our on campus cafes.
Shuttle Buses
A shuttle bus service will be running between the Stratford and Docklands campuses throughout the event. This is particularly useful if you are going to be studying at Stratford but are considering staying in the UEL Student Residences which are based at our Docklands campus.
