With Christmas often being a stressful time of year, UEL is hosting a wide range of free exercise classes at SportsDock tomorrow (Wednesday, 12 December) to help people unwind and get fit for the festive season.
Open to students, staff and the local community, an exciting mix of high-octane classes including Power Pump, Zumba, Circuits, Dance Fitness and Kick Boxing will be on offer at the new £21million facility to help get those endorphins flowing. For people looking to restore a calm state of mind and sense of balance, the Pilates session is a Christmas essential.
The running order is as follows:
Power Pump
Zumba
Circuits
Kickboxing
Dance Fitness
Pilates
David Cosford, Director of Sport at UEL, said: “We would really encourage people to come down and try out these free exercise classes. Not only will it make it you feel better before Christmas, you will be able to get into the festive spirit afterwards by joining us for a mince pie.”
The event takes place in partnership with Newham Council as part of the “let’s get the party started” programme.
