UEL sets up special helpline for London Met international students

Friday 31 August 2012

London Met

In light of the UK Border Agency decision to revoke London Metropolitan University of its Highly Trusted Status for sponsoring international students, the University of East London has set up a special helpline to offer guidance and help to those affected.

Naturally, this is an anxious time for international students, following the UKBA’s decision. As a university with a proud tradition of hosting and teaching students from more than 120 countries worldwide, we would like to reassure these students that UEL is certainly one of the many serious options they can consider in order to continue their higher education.

The special helpline will offer practical advice and guidance to students about what the alternative options are. The special hotline number is 0208 223 3300.
