The University of East London’s Open Day was a great success on Saturday with over 500 potential students visiting the Docklands campus and over 600 visiting the University’s campus in Stratford.
Students and their parents came along to the University to find out more about the wide range of exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses on offer next year. They were able to chat to representatives from all of the University’s schools, listen to talks on everything from student finance to electronic engineering, tour the University’s impressive facilities and really get a feel for what life on campus would be like for them with walking tours throughout the day, which included the opportunity to view the on-campus accommodation.
Elaine Sedgwick, Marketing Research Officer said: “Open days are a great way of getting a feel for what courses you want to do and what being at University will be like. It was fantastic to see so many potential students visit both campuses and find out more about the courses we offer, talk with our academics and tour our facilities.”.
