
University of East London hosted an international conference in Coaching and Positive Psychology in Education today.
Alongside a number of workshops, including ‘Coaching to Enhance GCSE Performance’ and ‘Using Positive Psychology in Schools’; the diverse range of guests from the world of education were also treated to three key note speeches from eminent professionals in this field.
Key note speakers comprised, Dr Suzy Green from the Coaching Psychology unit at the University of Sydney; Dr Jim Knight from the Centre for Research on Learning at the University of Kansas and Sir John Whitmore, Executive Chairman of Performance Consultants International.
All of the speakers gave inspirational speeches to an enthusiastic audience, extolling the numerous tangible benefits which could be achieved through effective coaching at all levels of education.
