The University of East London (UEL) has passed its Investors in People (IiP) reassessment with flying colours, with 16 areas singled out for commendation as good practice.
These included: range and quality of staff development, action to support equality and diversity, support in personal and professional needs, strategic planning, supportive and friendly working environment, technical support, administration and finance, good access to information and job satisfaction.
Professor Susan Price, UEL’s acting Vice-Chancellor, said: “This extremely positive result is excellent news and another major achievement for UEL to celebrate.
“One of the most powerful messages the assessors received from our staff was “I can see where I fit in, where I’m instrumental in making a real difference to people’s lives”. I believe this ethos is something we all share and it makes UEL a really special place to study and work. Thanks and congratulations to all our staff!”
