Leyton students wowed by Computing & Technology taster day at UEL

Over 30 local college students visited the University of East London (UEL) Docklands Campus on 7 February to get a taste of university life and experience the facilities on offer.

Gaurav Malik, senior lecturer in Computing at UEL, led the Leyton 6th Form College students on a tour of the campus, including the new Knowledge Dock, Business School, Library and computing labs.

He said: “The students were visibly impressed by our facilities. They found the labs in the Knowledge Dock and library fascinating and I think they enjoyed the lectures too!”

UEL’s School of Computing and Technology offers a wide range of foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including Computing, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Surveying and Geographical Information Systems.
