All welcome to UEL Autumn Open Evening – Wednesday 6 September

Thinking of university? Find out more at the University of East London (UEL) Autumn Open Evening on Wednesday 6 September.

From 5.30-8pm, the UEL Docklands and Stratford (Duncan House) campuses will open their doors to local residents and prospective students from across the UK and overseas.

Hundreds of visitors have already registered to find out more about the 300-plus degree programmes and combinations on offer at UEL, as well as the university’s recent campus developments and new range of scholarships and bursaries.

With the Clearing round of late university recruitment currently underway, visitors will even have the opportunity to make on-the-spot applications for degree programmes starting this very September.

Professor Michael Thorne, UEL’s Vice-Chancellor, said: “Over the last five years, the University of East London has enjoyed enormous success and changed out of all recognition, both physically and academically. We’ve gone from eleven to over twenty thousand students worldwide, while our £110 million campus redevelopment programme has seen wonderful new buildings established at our Docklands and Stratford campuses.”

At the Open Evening, tutors and specialist advisors will be on hand to offer guidance on all aspects of student life The UEL Schools of Architecture and the Visual Arts, Business, Computing and Technology, Social Sciences, Media and Cultural Studies will be represented at the Docklands campus, while Duncan House in Stratford will host Law, Psychology, Education and Health and Bioscience.
