The Admissions Unit processes ALL applications to programmes of study within the University, whether you are applying for an undergraduate or a postgraduate programme. We are also responsible for the Clearing operation which takes place during the summer (you would apply through Clearing in August if you do not have a confirmed offer of a place or are making a late initial application). Many of our students come to us through the Clearing operation, so don't despair if you have not already secured a University place.
Please Note: Some of our programmes require students to have a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and/or health check. Further details on applicant checks are available here
As soon as we receive your application for admission to UEL, it is entered on the student database by members of the Admissions Unit and a decision is made on your application as soon as possible.
If you are applying for a full-time undergraduate programme starting in September, you must apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Your data will then be downloaded to our database. A decision on your application is also entered on the database and either relayed to you through UCAS or direct from the Admissions Unit. We can therefore provide you with information regarding the status of your application at any stage of the process.
If you are applying for a part-time, post-graduate or full-time undergraduate programme starting in February, you can contact us directly, or apply using our part-time/postgrad/research semester B start application form.
