Pro Bono opportunities

Pro Bono Matters!

Pro Bono work is free and voluntary legal support for members of the community. The school takes this invaluable experience seriously and is committed to supporting its students through Pro Bono work. By undertaking pro bono work students develop their vocational skills in preparation for primarily a career in the criminal justice sector or as lawyers.

We currently participate in various pro bono schemes in and around London with organisations such as: Citizen Advice Bureaux, the Metropolitan Police, Victim Support, Amnesty, Shelter, Stratford Magistrates Court Volunteer Programme, Wandsworth County Court Personal Support Unit, Youth Mentoring and other projects often promoted by LawWorks – the leading solicitors’ pro bono group (SPBG). The following independent pro bono site: ProBonoUK.net provides more information.
