Syd Jeffers is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology. His research interests and publications focus on the politics of racism, social theory and public policy. He was a Research Fellow at the School for Advanced Urban Studies, University of Bristol and taught sociology at the University of Leicester.
He is a founder member of the British Sociological Association’s Race and Ethnicity Study Group and is currently a trustee of the BSA.
He is also a member of the editorial collective of the leading journal Critical Social Policy.
