George Laurencin is the Employability Manager in the School of Law and Social Sciences . His main role is to help students maximise their employability potential. George has a degree in Law as well as a first degree in Politics/Economics and an MA in Education Management; plus a PGCE. He has taught in the secondary school sector, but has also worked in both central and local government, including legal administration. He is aware of the challenges that students currently face, but feels UEL students have a lot to offer.

Legal and other placements and general employability matters, under a wide and specialised brief, for all School of Law students. He is also responsible for the School's internal employability website, 'Futures & Options', is Clerk to the School's Mooting Society and oversees the School's clinical legal education programmes.
