Angie has a BA in English Literature (University of Athens, Greece), an MA in Linguistics (York University, UK), an MSc in Comparative Studies (University of Edinburgh, UK) and a PhD in Psychoanalysis (University of Edinburgh, UK). She has written on issues of identity and gender in film, literature and culture. Her current research interests include: psychoanalysis, feminism, cultural theory, myth in contemporary contexts, the emotional effects of austerity. Her recent articles appear in journals like Subjectivity, Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society and The European Journal of Women's Studies.
