Today's Options, Tomorrow's Future!
Studying for a degree is a unique experience and is rightly seen as a stepping stone to career success. However, whilst studying your chosen course you should also be considering what you want to do as your future career and what you can do as a student to increase your employability in a highly competitive market place. As a school we are committed to ensuring our students are ready for the work place. We have a dedicated Employability Manager who can help develop your skills and plan how to achieve your career goals. Students are also invited to public lectures and talks by our distinguished alumni and supporters throughout their time at UEL.
We have an internal employability website called ‘Futures & Options’ for all the latest news, events and developments in the fields within our school. The site is frequently updated with information, resources and links so you are first to know the opportunities available. It can be accessed when you become a student through UEL Direct.
Studying a law or social science degree equips you with the skills and knowledge for a vast range of careers. Our students have previously graduated and become barristers, solicitors, teachers, lecturers, personnel officers, social workers and liaison officers, run NGOs in the UK and abroad, become anthropologists, humanitarians and international advisors, worked as legal secretaries and advisors, police officers, court room officers and in many other professions
