
Students within the school of Law and Social Sciences benefit from outstanding facilities at both our Docklands and Stratford campuses.Students studying programmes within the social sciences strand of the school including anthropology, innovation studies, NGO and humanitarian related degrees, sociology and psychosocial studies are based at Docklands.
The Docklands campus is one of the newest campuses in London! Students benefit from on campus accommodation in our student village, excellent transport links with a DLR station on campuses, local shops and facilities and an amazing dock-side location. Docklands is less than 30 minutes from central London, the West End and Oxford Street and even closer to some of the hippest places in the capital, Shoreditch, Hoxton and Old Street.
The Docklands campus will also be home to our brand new, £21million state-of-the-art sports and education centre, SportsDock. SportsDock will open in Spring 2012 and has been chose by the US Olympic Team to be their home and training facility before and during the games.
Students studying law, criminology and associated programmes are based at our dedicated building Duncan House, which is situated within minutes from the centre of Stratford part of London's most thriving and rapidly developing. Stratford Station has Tube and DLR connections within easy access to central London.

Stratford is a hub for cultural life with venues, such as the Theatre Royal, the famous East End theatre, and Stratford Circus, the state-of-the-art performance art centre, or Discover, the learning experience centre for kids. September 2011 sees the opening of Westfield Stratford, a new shopping centre that will be the biggest urban shopping centre in Europe!
The 2012 Olympic and Paraolympic games will also mainly be based in Stratford and the area has see massive development of it's landscape with the main venues a stones throw from our campuses. There is not a more exciting time to be in East London and our students are benefiting from studying at UEL in these exciting times.
