CPD and short courses

Our continued professional development and short courses offer students flexible learning options that are designed to allow you to continue your academic or professional journey, enhance employment opportunities or begin your academic career. The School of Law and Social Sciences offers several programmes that are taught by our acclaimed academics and give students access to our campus facilities including 24/7 libraries.

New for 2012-3 is the short course Cycling in Society, which runs over a one week block and can be taken with or without credit at Masters' level.

We also offer short courses as part of our extended degree programme within both Law and Criminology and Social Sciences.

Foundation Business Information Technology

CPD and short courses within the school are supported by UEL Plus, a web based system that enables UEL students to access online study materials and to interact with their tutors and peers. We also roll out other tools and technologies to enhance the student experience, such as our social learning platform, ConnectingUEL.

The school also offers bespoke training sessions for business, for further information contact Sharon Senner in the school office.
