Student exchange programmes

For over a decade, UEL law students have participated in these exchanges and have enjoyed the chance to live and study in other European countries. Taking part in an international student exchange provides students with a unique learning experience. It also boosts employability and opens up additional career opportunities.

 Cass School of Education Students

The School of Law and Social Science currently offers student and staff exchange programmes with the following universities:

All of these student exchanges are funded by the European Union under its Socrates/Erasmus programme. This programme encourages the mobility of students within the European Union and provides qualifying students with funding towards studying overseas.

One of our exchange partners, Universiteit Utrecht, allows exchange students to study in English. Alternatively, for UEL students who already speak French, German or Spanish, an international student exchange presents the ideal opportunity for improving language proficiency.

Going Global bursary

The UEL Going Global Scheme is an exciting new programme that is aimed at UK studentsto take part in short visits outside the UK which are related to your UEL modules.

Many of our students find it difficult for various reasons to take up opportunities to travel overseas for a whole semester or year on an Exchange or Study Abroad placement. If that means you, then the Going Global Scheme is an excellent way to integrate overseas mobility into your studies.
