On behalf of the whole team I’d like to welcome you to Library and Learning Services at UEL.‌

Our libraries provide a range of services to support your learning. These include books, journals, databases and other learning resources to support your studies, as well as comfortable spaces for individual study or group working. You will also find IT facilities, assistive technologies and help desks for advice and support.

Our libraries are increasingly digital, providing a high proportion of eBooks and journals online which are accessible both on- and off-campus, while wi-fi enables you to connect from anywhere in the library buildings using your own laptop or mobile device.  Our buildings are open 24/7 throughout semester so you can borrow and return books and use all the facilities at a time that suits you.

You can contact our librarians online via our Ask a Librarian service or face to face at the help desks in each of our libraries. Your subject librarian can also advise you about specialist resources for your subject area. We are all here to help and no question is too small or too trivial. Please do visit your library at the earliest opportunity to find out more about the services and resources we provide – using your library effectively will make all the difference to your academic success.
