We have black and white and colour photocopiers in all our libraries. You will need to buy a rechargeable photocopy card from dispensing machines. We also sell acetates for making transparencies for presentations. You can copy books or journals for study, subject to the terms of the Copyright Act.

Copyright legislation places strict legal restrictions on what UEL staff and students can copy for educational use, whether photocopying, scanning or downloading material. Moreover, copyright compliance is actively policed by agencies such as the CLA (Copyright Licensing Agency), and breaches of copyright law may lead to prosecution.

DVDs and videos are available for loan or for use on individual or group viewing facilities in the Library and Learning Centres.
The Docklands library has a suite of computers for multimedia project work. The MediaPod is located on the second floor of the library. It is an open access cluster of five Apple Mac computers each equipped with two 17" LCD monitors and a DV video recorder to enable digital video capture. The suite is available to all current UEL students and staff. We advise a maximum 4 hours continuous use in order to give fair use buy all our users.
