Access to our Libraries

Students

When you register as a student you will be given an ID card which is also your library card. You will need your card to come into and use any UEL library. You will also need a PIN to start using the self-service machines. Just ask at any library helpdesk.

Staff

If you are a new member of staff please come to any Library helpdesk with your ID card during staffed hours where your library account will be created.

Sconul Access & Other Visitors

Please see our Visitors page in the Library Users section.

No card = no entry
Current UEL students and staff must use their UEL ID card to gain admission to all UEL Library and Learning Centres.

All Sconul Access and visitors must report to the Security desk.
