The 19th Century House of Commons Parliamentary Papers contains bibliographic records and searchable full text for over 79,000 papers, amounting to 4.2 million pages, printed between 1801-1900. Accompanying the papers is detailed indexing from Peter Cockton's 'Subject Catalogue of the House of Commons Parliamentary Papers 1801-1900'. Nineteenth century scholars find the HCPP particularly important because they cover a wide range of social, economic, legal and political topics, while providing this view not only for the United Kingdom, but for the whole of the British Empire.
