You'll need an Athens account to access most of our e-information when you are not at University. You can create your own account quickly and easily following the instructions below. You can only do this from a PC on the UEL campus.
ATHENS Account set up:
To obtain an personal ATHENS account, first make a note of the following login and password:
Then go to http://www.athensams.net/myathens/ and use them to login. You will then be asked for your details (name, student number, email etc) ... fill in the form, and you will receive an email confirming your personal account and password. This account will be valid until 30th September 2010 - after this date you will have to create a new account.
Distance Learning Students, and those who are unable to come to campus should complete an Athens request form . Please bear in mind that it may take up to two working days to process your application.
Passwords to databases not accessible with an Athens password can be accessed when you are on campus from the following link - click here. If you can't get to campus contact us for help.
Please Note:
We cannot make information about passwords available through the Internet for students working from home (if you are on campus, click here for password information). If you need this information but cannot come into a UEL campus, click here to contact Nathan Newey, Technical services manager.
