Library Closure from 5pm, Friday 7 June Until Sunday 23 June

The UEL Stratford and Duncan House libraries will close their doors for good at 5pm, Friday 7 June. The printed library collections and staff will be relocated to the new Stratford Library between Saturday 8 and Sunday 23 June and there will be no physical access to either library during this period. The new Stratford library opens on Monday 24 June.

If you need to use the library during the closure period you'll have 24/7 access to a full range of online resources using your Athens password. Docklands Library will also remain open throughout.

To minimise any disruption, you'll also be able to borrow 25 items from the beginning of June - that's 10 more than usual.

So put a note in your diaries: Stratford and Duncan House Library will be closed from 5pm, Friday 7 June, and the new, state-of-the-art Stratford library will open on Monday 24 June.

For more information about the services that will be available during the two week closure visit the New Stratford Library website.

If you’ve got any questions or queries, send an email to newlibrary@uel.ac.uk  and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
