Desktop Support

What is the service?

This service is the provision of first and second line support and maintenance related to our desktop computing environment. This includes desktop, laptop, network, printer and supported software

What is included?

This service includes:

  • Diagnosis and resolution of faults
  • Fulfilling desktop related service requests such as:
    • Installation and Configuration of Software
    • Rebuilds and migrations of desktop systems
    • Installation of new desktop hardware
    • Relocation of existing desktop equipment
    • Configuration of desktop peripherals
    • Hardware upgrade and replacements
    • Facilitation of warranty repairs

* This is currently under review with a view to reducing this to 3 days
