Unable to Log In

I cannot login to UEL Domain and it says my account is locked

If you enter your password incorrectly three times in succession, your the account will be automatically locked. Go to our Password Recovery Service. Alternatively you can get your account unlocked if you contact the Service Desk.

I can log into a computer but I cannot use the services

This usually occurs if an account has been restricted by Financial Services (see below). Contact Financial Services at finance.registry@uel.ac.uk.

My account appears to be blocked

This may be for a number of reasons including:

  • Non-payment of tuition fees, so Financial Services have blocked your account
  • Items totalling over £100 are overdue on your library account
  • Library fines totalling over £80 have not been paid
  • You owe outstanding fees to Residential Services
  • You have breached network security while logging on to the network.

My account appears to be disabled

This may happen for one of the following reasons:

  • Your account has not been in use for a number of months
  • Your programme has finished
  • Your study has been discontinued.
