How do I add money to my Student/swipe card?

Students within the University of East London can easily add cash to their account for printing on-line via UEL Direct, or if you are on campus you can do this at a number of Money Loaders located in different places at every UEL campus.

What do I do when I get a new Student/Swipe card?

You need to register it on the Money Loader Machine.

My student card shows the message, ‘Account locked’ even though I have just added money to my account?

You may not have pressed 'Finish' when adding funds to your account. Try repeating the process.

Why is my print account showing ‘insufficient funds’ when it looks like I have money on my account?

The print system occasionally allows your print credit to go into a minus state, when you are printing multiple page documents. This means it can look as though you have money in your account even though you don’t. Add money if you get this message.
