After surveying about 15 Universities during a summer visit in the UK, I finally settled for UEL. The fantastic design and construction of the campus, the well equipped laboratories, self help technology at the library and, most importantly, the reception of staff and students was really impressive - it just felt like home.
My brother is planning to do his postgraduate studies here in September.

When I was making my choice of University, I found out UEL was among the Top 10 Universities in the UK with modern facilities and learning resources which I regard as an important requirement for higher education, especially on my course. Since arriving, I’ve really enjoyed meeting people from different parts of the world. I live on-campus and it is very comfortable – I don’t have to walk far to my lessons!

I decided to study at UEL because of its cultural diversity. The standard is also very high: the classrooms are comfortable, the tutors and staffs are warm and helpful and the lectures are involving and challenging. The school is up- to-date with the latest technology and the 24/7 library is an excellent resource to assist our studies.
The Welcome Programme organised by the International Office is simply brilliant and I have also worked with them as an international student ambassador.

My application to UEL was based solely on the recommendation of someone who was so convinced about the University that he got the prospectus for me and urged me to apply. The efficient service I received during the admission process was very impressive and the International Office’s response, enthusiasm and conviction helped me along every stage. As soon as I arrived at the campus and stood observing its architectural aesthetics as well as the academic and administrative proceedings, I knew I had made the right choice. Studying here is a rewarding experience.

UEL has a high standard of educational facilities and has a very friendly atmosphere. I love the cultural diversity of the University and its multinational student community. I enjoy staying in the on-campus accommodation with its modern facilities and the environment is safe.
I have recommended UEL to my friends and family.

I joined UEL in September 2008. I had met a representative from the International Office in Abuja and was starting my studies at the University just a few months later.
I decided to study at UEL because of the knowledge and skills the website stated I would acquire on my programme and I have not been disappointed. The library, staff, conducive learning environment and free trips organised to different parts of the UK make this study experience.
Thousands of Nigerians have graduated from UEL. We promote and encourage an active alumni network and hold events in Nigeria to provide our alumni with networking and social opportunities. Below are some profiles of some of our more recent graduates.

Studying MSc Project Management at UEL has been a life changing experience. It’s helped me re-position myself in terms of my career. The lecturers and non academic staff have also been very helpful in terms of advice. Completing my MSc programme and certifications in professional examinations have really made my academic dreams come true.
I received a fantastic job offer just before I completed my studies and I am now working as a Project Management Facilitator training Nigerian clients.

I had a wonderful study experience at UEL and have many fond memories. I settled in quickly owing to the friendly staff, particularly my supervisor that assisted me throughout my dissertation. My programme more than met my expectations – it was both challenging and will be very useful to my future aspirations.
I am currently planning on continuing my studies at PhD level in Biotechnology.

The most enjoyable aspect about studying at UEL is having a good mix of sound academic knowledge and cultural diversity all in one University of study. A complete university experience goes far beyond just formal education, extending into learning cultural and social values. This is one experience I have had the opportunity to enjoy while studying here. After graduating I applied for what is now called the Post Work Study Scheme.
My UEL postgraduate qualification enabled me to secure my current position and I am working full-time as an engineer in London.

I decided to study at UEL because I heard it was a very inclusive University. The teaching standard is very high and I look forward to my classes. The lecturers are both informative and charismatic. The library is open 24/7 and I am fascinated by the level of information available to assist our studies.Of course my social life in UEL is very sound as well.
I am presently applying the skills I aqcuired as part of my studies in management in the organisation I worked for before I went to the UK. Impressively , all the change initiatives proposed by me are presently and gradually being implemented in our firm.
