"The whole application process turned out to be very stress free and the tuition remarkably affordable. I settled into life pretty easily. A lot of information was given to us about London, living here, and how to access things. I was introduced to other Kenyans so I didn’t feel homesick or alone.

"When I arrived, it was Ramadan, and the university's Islamic Society were very welcoming, and even went as far as providing food for us to break our fast. We've had numerous free trips organized by the International Office, which I have enjoyed immensely. We have learned to work independently and have had many opportunities to give presentations and gain confidence speaking to people - skills that will be helpful in our later careers.

"The quality of accommodation is good and the campus is a really nice serene place; spacious, and attractive. I shall sorely miss the fantastic view from my room! I have grown as a person and learnt a lot, as well as having had an amazing time."

Snorine Musavi Imbwaga, MA International Social Work and Community Development

“I enjoy my studies at UEL because of the available facilities provided on campus, for example, 24 hour access to the library and internet in the library and in the halls of residences, which makes it easy and comfortable to study. The time for lectures is well scheduled, which allows enough time for individual learning and research. UEL has a very nice view and access to other parts of London is easy from campus.”

Michael Mwaura Njeri, MSc Business Information Systems

"UEL is well located offering access to many student resources such as part-time employment and entertainment, and has given me the chance to meet different people from different backgrounds. I would recommend UEL to people because it offers numerous programmes to suit your needs. My current lecturers are brilliant and have made me enjoy my studies.”
