Study in London at the University of East London (UEL). UEL is a large modern university with a large international population. We have around 28,000 students from over 120 different countries around the world. Each year we welcome many new students from Brazil and across Latin America. Here are some reasons why they choose UEL as their study location:
We are pleased to announce that UEL has been selected to particpate in the Brazilian government's Science Without Borders scholarship scheme. This generous scheme allows talented Brazilian students to study with us for a year of their bachelors degree or PhD programme, fully funded by the Brazilian government.

The teams stayed in our modern, well equipped halls of residence and utilised our brand new £21million sports facility, the SportsDock. See www.uel.ac.uk/2012 for more information.
We are also connected to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and the London East Research Institute (LERI) at UEL is working with local partners in Brazil on the social legacy of such mega-events. More information about can be found at www.uel.ac.uk/londoneast
