At UEL there are a broad range of modules (classes) available to Study Abroad students. You can build your own programme of studies, taking modules across different academic Schools and different academic years (levels) as long as you have attained any prerequisite education that applies to specific modules. We will also need to ensure that there are no timetable clashes, but apart from that you can generally take whichever classes you choose.
We regret that we are unable to accept Study Abroad applications for postgraduate study – you will only be able to take undergraduate modules.
Lists of modules that each school within UEL offers to Study Abroad and Exchange students, are available here:
The lists are indicative only, and are subject to change at any time without notice, although we endeavour to keep changes to a minimum. We reserve the right to change or cancel any module without notice.
Students must select four modules per semester, which are worth 15 UK credits each, so 60 credits in total. There is no part-time Study Abroad or Exchange route – students must take three modules, meaning they are full-time students.
Four UEL modules are worth:
UK Credits: 60
US Credits:12– 15
Before enrolling on our Study Abroad programme, you must first check that your home institution will accept the above equivalencies, as well as your module selection. If you need to see detailed specifications of our modules, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
