There are several ways to travel from Heathrow Airport to the University. Your choice will depend on how much time you have and how much money you are willing to spend.
The cheapest way to travel from Heathrow all of the University campuses is by London Underground. This will cost you approximately £5 (as of September 2012)
The London Underground train network operates throughout London via a number of different ‘lines’ which all have different names, for example the ‘Bakerloo Line’ or the ‘Central Line’. On the London Underground map, the train lines are colour-coded. For example, the Central Line is coded red, and the route and stations are clearly indicated. There are maps at every station and London Underground staff is available to help you if you have any problems. Each train has a route map inside with its destinations, so you can check that you have got on to the right train and how many station stops to your destination.

The areas of London on the London Underground map are divided into six zones for pricing purposes (with zone 1 comprising the centre of London, and zone 6 comprising Greater London). When buying your ticket, ensure that you choose the correct zone (this information is provided on these pages). Ticket machines are located at each station and you can use cash or credit cards to purchase your ticket.
