We understand that moving to the UK can be a daunting experience for many overseas students, so we work hard to make you feel welcome when you arrive.
As part of your induction we run a programme of events designed to help you settle in and to make new friends. The programme includes some practical information sessions as well as social activities designed with international students in mind. It is a great way to meet new people, learn about life in London and begin settling into the University.

As part of your induction to UEL we run a series of events designed to help you settle in and to make new friends. If you arrived too late to attend the Orientation Programme on 29th January, it is important that you attend our Welcome Programme Review to catch up on what you missed.
The event is a condensed version of the Orientation Programme and will include important information to help you settle in and be succesful at UEL.
If you attended the Orientation but would like a refresher, you are welcome to attend.
After the Review you will have the opportunity to meet other new students at a 'Speed Friending' event. This is a fun way to socialise and meet as many new people as you can!

We look forward to seeing you there!

During the first week at UEL a number of activities are organised by UEL International as part of our Welcome Programme
Enrolment at UEL is the process whereby you complete the registration process and officially become a UEL student. Information on the requirements for enrolment, including the times and dates scheduled for you to enrol (based on your course of study/ school) can be found on the Starting at UEL section of this website.
Although you will not be fully enrolled until you have attended on-campus Enrolment, once you have an unconditional offer, you can speed up the process by completing your online enrolment task.
Information on the Welcome programme can be found on our website for February, for May and for September
Your enrolment day is dedicated to getting you fully enrolled and issued with your UEL student card. Please note, you will not be fully enrolled until you have your UEL student card so all international students need to attend this day.
It’s also important that you bring with you certain documents on the day to help you complete your visa check and full enrolment at UEL. Please make sure you have the following:
