Scholarships

UEL offers a range of scholarships for new international students:

Undergraduate Scholarships

If you meet the entry criteria for your chosen full-time undergraduate programme you will eligible for a scholarship of £1,000. There is no need to complete a separate application form for this, your main application form will be assessed and, if you fulfil the requirements, £1,000 will be automatically deducted from your tuition fees.

* Please note that HND students are not eligible for this scholarship.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to applicants for postgraduate taught degrees who meet certain entry criteria. There is no need to complete a separate application, your main application will be considered and you will be awarded a scholarship if you are assessed as fulfilling the necessary requirements.

For applicants who have achieved a First Class Honours UK undergraduate degree or equivalent, a scholarship of £2,000 will be automatically deducted from your tuition fees.

For applicants who have achieved Upper Second Class Honours degree or equivalent, the scholarship award will be £1500

For applicants who have achieved Lower Second Class Honours Honours degree or equivalent, the scholarship award will be £1000

*Please note that postgraduate scholarships are only available for Masters programmes studied on a full time basis. No scholarships are awarded to students undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma or upgrading from a PGDip to a Masters by subsequently undertaking a dissertation.

When completing your application form, please do not try to convert your results into their UK equivalents yourself; please leave your marks and grades in their original form so that the International Office can translate them.
