You can pay your tuition fee deposit using the methods below. All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Please also note that your UEL student number must always be quoted when making any payment, regardless of the method you use to pay your fees.
This payment option, using Travelex, is included in uel-direct as a facility to allow students to transfer funds to the University in their local currency for both tuition fees and accommodation. uel-direct can be accessed by all applicants who hold an offer with no academic conditions.
You can pay directly into the University's bank account by electronic transfer or from any bank counter quoting the following:
You should ensure that you obtain a receipt which confirms the transfer. You will need to return a copy of this to us with your signed International Notification Letter.

You can pay by sending us a bankers draft made payable to the ‘University of East London’. It must be drawn in pounds sterling on a London branch of an overseas bank (or a UK bank). Please ensure that your name and 7 digit UEL student number is clearly written on the back and send it to:
International Admissionscan pay their first instalment by bankers draft payable to the University of East London. Payment should be given to the agent with your signed International Student Reply Form. Our advisors should not ask you to make payments to themselves or anyone else only to the University of East London.

You should not ask your sponsor or other family member to transfer maintenance funds to us as we are unable to refund them to you and will return them to the original payee. An administration charge may be deducted from any refund.
