The application process varies depending on the course that you want to apply for:

Undergraduate Programmes starting in September 2013

Undergraduate applicants wishing to begin a course in September can apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) at www.ucas.com

Alternatively, you can contact one of our local Advisors or International Centres who can guide you through the application process. Our Advisors are based in many countries around the world

If applying through UCAS, you will need the unique UCAS code for UEL, which is ELOND E28.You will also need the UCAS code for the programme you want to study, which you will find on our programme pages

If you are offered a place you will be notified of this via the UCAS TRACK system.You will then receive an email from our International Admissions team with further information including fees, payment methods and visa information. 


Undergraduate Programmes starting in January

Most undergraduate applicants wishing to begin a programme in January can apply directly to UEL.

Apply Online

The easiest way to submit your application is online via the Undergraduate Programme Pages on this website.  This is also the fastest way to apply and it is free of charge.

Use a Paper Application Form

If you would prefer not to apply online, you can download an application form and send it to us as a hard copy or through email.

Taught Postgraduate Programmes

Most postgraduate applicants can apply directly to UEL (some exceptions are mentioned below).

The easiest way to submit your application is online via the Postgraduate Programme Pages on this website.  This is also the fastest way to apply and it is free of charge.

Applicants for PGCE Programmes

Due to professional body requirements, applicants can not apply directly to UEL for these courses.

  • Applications for PGCE programmes must be made through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) at www.gttr.ac.uk

Postgraduate (Research) Programmes

Most applicants for research programmes can apply directly to UEL. Please download the application form and return it to us along with copies of your qualifications and send it to us as a hard copy or through email:
