Property and Contents Insurance

The University of East London has taken out a number of insurances to cover its buildings, properties and their contents. All of these polices are held with Zurich Insurance Company.

The policies cover the following areas:

• Material Damage to both Buildings and Property
• Damage to Works in Progress (new buildings or refurbishments)
• Expenses or losses incurred through Interruption to Business
• Loss of Money
• Damage to Computer Equipment

Please note that personal belongings are not covered under these policies.

Special provisions apply for equipment loaned to students and staff and taken off campus.
