Welcome to in Focus Update… |
Past Issues << | Issue 256: 09 August 2011 |
In light of the recent rioting and trouble across London yesterday, we hope that no one at UEL has been directly affected. We would like to reassure all staff and students that our campuses have not been affected and that we are open for business as usual. If any staff have been affected by the disturbances and require the support or assistance of their line manager, they should let this be known as soon as possible to their line manager, who will be sympathetic to their request for additional time to travel to and from work, or to cater for any other exceptional circumstance. As advised yesterday, staff and students should check their travel arrangements before leaving campus at the end of the day. We are in contact with the local police and should we hear anything that needs to be brought to your attention we will of course let you know.
